Montauk Film FestivalJuly 21-31 (various locations)
The 3rd Annual Montauk Film Festival aims to showcase projects aimed at inspiring an awareness of our local environment through the themes of athletics, humanity and sustainability. The festival kicks off at the Surf Lodge on July 21 and is followed by screenings at various Montauk locations throughout the next week and a half leading up to the awards ceremony on July 31 at the Montauk Lighthouse Cafe. Monday evening concerts on the greenMondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in July and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in August (Town Green)
Bring your blankets and chairs, and even your dinner and enjoy the free music at the Gazebo. From 6:30-8:30 p.m. in June and July and 6-8 p.m. in August, listen to Montauk’s summertime soundtrack, including The Realm, Joe Delia and more. Spectators are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs
Annual Lighthouse Benefit Concert: WallflowersAugust 13 (Montauk Point Lighthouse)
Experience a concert you’ll never forget at Montauk Lighthouse’s incredible natural amphitheater for a beautiful outdoor concert featuring The Wallflowers with opening act by Jessica Lynn! Bring beach chairs and blankets and swing as you watch the sunset and moonrise over Block Island Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Food trucks, beer, wine and other refreshments will be available. Proceeds will help the Montauk Historical Society fund programming and maintain our beautiful lighthouse.
