Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins and the Steve Miller Band are part of the BeachLife Festival this weekend in Redondo Beach.

Thousands of people are expected at the event, which begins Friday and continues through Sunday. It’s three days of Southern California beach culture and music.

“Our mission is to inspire community, authenticity, and generosity through the celebration of music, art, and our Southern California beach culture,” according to the event’s website.

When is the Beach Life Festival?

The music lover’s paradise on the shore begins at 1 p.m. Friday. Shows start at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

From Thursday, tickets were still available for Saturday and Sunday.

The music festival was launched in 2019. It was scrapped for 2020, but returned last year. There is no evidence of a COVID vaccination requirement.

Where does the BeachLifeFestival take place?

The concerts will take place along the shoreline of Redondo Beach, north of the pier in the community of South Bay. The address is 137 North Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach.

Who plays at the BeachLife Festival?

The event is headlined by Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins and the Steve Miller Band. Weezer will headline the first night, Smashing Pumpkins will take over on Saturday and the Steve Miller Band will wrap things up on Sunday.

Other artists include Black Pumas, Stone Temple Pilots, Sheryl Crow, UB40, Vance Joy, Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, Capital Cities, Sugar Ray, Rita Wilson, Ozomatli and Cold War Kids.
