“When Fruitive first opened its doors 10 years ago, my main goal was to create a healthy eating place that was more than just a restaurant. I wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere for my family and the community as a whole,” said Gregg Rozeboom, founder and CEO of Fruitive. “As I traveled across the country visiting different restaurants for inspiration, I realized that there were many stores specializing in specific concepts but not offering a wide selection of food options at I have taken ideas from each of the restaurants to develop an innovative business that offers top quality, 100% plant-based dishes. Fruitive combines various health concepts into one fast and casual establishment. From the antioxidant superberry bowl filled with oat milk, acai, blueberries and bananas to their popular avocado herb toast on whole grain bread, Rozeboom has crafted health-focused meals with an eco-conscious . Fruitive’s seasonal menu changes on the first day of each season.

“Over the years, our menu has continued to evolve to ensure we meet customer needs and requests,” Rozeboom said. “We ensure that our food is 100% plant-based because we firmly believe that eating plant-based is the healthiest way to eat for the good of our bodies and the planet.”

To help commemorate the 10th anniversary, Fruitive will host a three-day celebration starting at June 23-25 at the Hilltop location at Virginia Beach and the downtown location of washington d.c. Fruitive will be serving half-price pizzas, their newest addition to the menu, for the duration of the celebration. On friday june 24customers can enjoy Fruitive’s popular Peaches & Greens liquid meal smoothie for free, and to top off the weekend, Fruitive will be offering free avocado toast on Saturday June 25.
