Barbara Ann (Moulton) Married, 85 from Spencer.
Our beloved “Nan” passed away peacefully at The Meadows in Rochdale, MA surrounded by her family to be with her late husband Arthur Marrier “Pup” of 35 years who passed away in March 2021.
Barbara born in Ware, MA in January 1937, second daughter of the late Hazel (Hirbour) and Harold Moulton.
Barbara was a hardworking partner in the family business “Spencer Billiards” while raising four children. She was also proud to be a certified home health aide. Barb and Art have enjoyed seasonal camping at Rusnik Campground in Salisbury for many years, vacationing at Old Orchard Beach and enjoying the rides and entertainment at the arcade with the kids. Mom loved to crochet and stitch with her stepmom Dorothia Marrier. A kind and easy-going woman, she treasured her friends Barbara Fountain and Janeth Girouard.
Barbara leaves behind her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly, always expressing how much she loved us all, Deborah Burdett Zarzecki and her husband Mark Zarzecki of Charlton, Cheryl Ricard, A. Robert Marrier of Spencer and Edward Marrier of Worcester.
Her grandchildren Jami Ricard with whom she had a special relationship. Jason Burdett, Shaun Ricard and Scott Marrier. Also 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her sister Phyllis Nealer, her brothers Ernest, Richard, David, Kenneth and Gary Moulton.
She is survived by her sister Janice Madsen with whom she had a very close and dear relationship, being the younger sister Janice would look to her sister for guidance, her brother Harold his wife Leah Moulton, Kevin Moulton his devoted companion Barbara Wozniak . Sister-in-law Sarah Lorraine and Susan Moulton.
The private graveside service for Barbara and Arthur will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery in Paxton, MA at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Shaw Majercik Funeral Home.
